I think that any day is a good day to celebrate love
To open our hearts To one another
Without malice or clutching or transaction
So, I take this day as a reminder to pull close to my heart
all the loves I am fortunate to have in my tiny brief life
and revel in the many facets of this feeling
that have and do well up in me
the adoration, infatuation, lust, passion, flirtation, quixotic, erotic, unconditional, flowing, free, delicious, supportive, poignant, enduring, fleeting, unrequited, long suffering, true, innocent, unyielding, expansive, bold, unapologetic, all encompassing, fearless
and I bow at the feet of all of it and all of you
with the sincerest hope you have had
and are now experiencing the connective tissue of this thing called love
and that you, like me, are swimming in gratitude
and flooded by the grace of a loving, open heart.
