Sarah Ford is an actress, writer, and dancer. She graduated from the Juilliard School with a B. S. degree in dance. She has danced with the Jose Limon Company, Anna Sokolow, the American Dance Festival and the Nimbus Dance Theater. She taught dance at the 92nd St. Y in New York City, Pace University, as an adjunct professor and, Good Counsel Academy, White Plains, New York. She also organized and ran a program for children called the Dance Arts Project at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry New York. She has also taught movement to actors and inner-city students in NYC. As an actor she has studied with Stella Adler, Terry Schreiber, Michael Howard, Vivian Matalon, and Joan McIntosh. She is a past member of Pulse Ensemble and the Basic Theater in New York. Sarah has also worked as a Real Estate agent in Manhattan working for Halstead Properties and was a part owner of a small art gallery in Dutchess County called Visual Field exhibiting painting, photography, and sculpture. Sarah has looked at, and been influenced by, art for as long as she can remember……and dance was her first very important language. Sarah is currently working on a memoir.
