Jane Elkin is a military spouse and graduate of Bennington Writing Seminars who splits her time between Annapolis, Maryland and her birthplace in southern Maine. She has a kaleidoscopic background as a seamstress, sea glass artist, handwriting analyst, and classical singer who has performed for the Pope… twice. She has visited all 50 states, lived in Switzerland, learned two (and a half) foreign languages, and taught English to students from 50 countries, an experience detailed in her chapbook “World Class.” Her prose and poetry have won awards from the likes of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the Maryland Writers’ Association, the Poetry Society of New Hampshire, and Ducts.com.
